I know you've heard of the television show What Not To Wear, right?!   RIGHT!

The show is all about a total makeover, as Fashion experts Stacy London and Clinton Kelly convert participants from dowdy to dashing with new clothes, hair and makeup.  When it comes to the hair, Nick Arrojo works miracles!

Nick began his career as a hair stylist at Vidal Sassoon. After completing the company's training program at 21, he was appointed their youngest-ever assistant creative director. After nine years with Sassoon, he went on to work for Wella International and New York's Bumble and Bumble Salon, where he was the education director for three years. Now Nick has his own studio and product line:

Mark Christopher Salon is the ONLY salon in Raleigh that carries the ARROJO line and we couldn't be more excited!! Hope you are too!

The 5 Point Cut

So let’s talk about the design of Mark Christopher Salon...ever wonder what it looks like inside?!
Well, when you walk in the door you are greeted by a custom designed wall mural of the infamous Vidal Sassoon 5 point cut. It's placed right behind the front desk, so you will probably see me (Brooke) as well. The mural has been quite the conversation starter, as some can see it perfectly, while others need a second to figure it out. Either way we love it and want to share with you why this image means so much to Mark Christopher Salon.
Vidal Sassoon always talks enthusiastically about the inspirations behind his famous looks, the people he worked with, the team that he adored and the dedication, passion and commitment he has for the industry. Mark Christopher Salon is inspired by these same values and has dedicated our re-created mural as a sign of dedication and passion to our valued clients and staff.

Come by today! We would love to see you! xo!
